Pros of the K575
The main advantage over the K575 is the somewhat larger reservoir which provides an extra cup of coffee.
Plus, you can get hot water on demand which is perfect for tea drinkers, those in the office, or other places when you need hot water alone.
Basically, the K575 offers a slightly larger reservoir, touch screen, nightlight, hot water on demand, and an additional brew size all for $30 more than the K475.
Cons of Both Coffee Makers
There are no real cons to either coffee maker as both have been used for years and they deliver what is promised.
In comparison to each other, there are some differences between the K475 and K575, but it’s not fair to say that the K575 is really superior.
Rather, it offers a few features that the K475 simply lacks.
The value that you place on the additional features will be balanced out by the higher price.
For example, the nightlight on the K575 is a nice addition for those who want to brew their coffee early in the morning without having to turn on the kitchen lights, but you may not consider that an advantage depending on the use.
Verdict: Which Coffee Maker is Better?
Essentially, the K475 is perfect for large families or at the office.
It provides considerable value and some flexibility which is nice.
The K575 is more top of the line, offering hot water which is a big plus for those who enjoy tea.
Overall, both coffee makers are quite good at what they do and both offer similar services with the K575 standing out for its additional features.
However, the K575 is also $30 more expensive and if you do not need the additional features, then the K475 is the better choice.
